Youth Fellowship Grade 5-12 Kelley Price, Advisor   The Youth Group consists of exciting, energetic, and extraordinary young people in grades 5 through 12 who are active in our church and in our community. The youth group has logged many miles participating in the annual CROP Walk; toiled at Overlook Ram in Rutland, Massachussets for Heifer Project International; joined with adult church members to work at Red Bird Mission in Kentucky and at the Onondaga Indian Nation near Syracuse, New York; retreated into the surf at Cape Henlopen State Park in Lewes, Delaware; worked at Mission Central in Mechanicsburg; deleivered holiday cheer to Calvary's homebound members; put together care packages for theri friends in college; spent an evening "locked in" the church; watched movies; partied at church; played many games; eaten a lot of food, and so much more.   There will be many opportunities to grow in your faith and to grow closer to your friends. This time in your life is full of excitement, challenges, and new oppotunities. Remember to bring Christ along for the ride!   Check the youth room, The Messenger, or our weekly activity and devotional e-mail to discover what is happening. Meetings are usually held on Sundays right after church to fit into the busy lives of Calvary's Youth. Friends are always welcome!! Upcoming Events:  YOUTH GROUP IS NOW MEETING EVERY WEDNESDAY EVENING - come out from 6:30 - 7:30 PM on Wednesdays. Wednesday, May 2 – Youth Group (Grades 5-12) – 6:30-7:30 p.m. – We’ll play some games and check out some music videos with a message.  High School Juniors and Seniors can work on their blocks.  Wednesday, May 9 – NO YOUTH GROUP (the Flea Market will keep us busy enough this week) Saturday, May 12 – Flea Market – Lots of help is needed!  Everyone going on the Heifer Trip must help!  Any other youth are welcome to help out.  Parents are also welcome.  Please sign up in Sunday School or contact Kelley with when you can help: Thursday, May 10 – 5:30-6:30 p.m. Friday, May 11 – 5:30-6:30 (maybe 7) p.m. Saturday, May 12 – 7:00-10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 12 – 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 16 – Youth Group Party (Grades 5-12) -  6:00-7:30 p.m. – Games, pizza, music, fun!  Hope to see you there.  High School Juniors and Seniors can work on their blocks.  Sign up in Sunday School or RSVP to Kelley by May 14 so we have enough food and prizes!  What!?!?  There are prizes…… Wednesday, May 30 and Thursday, May 31 – Youth Sunday Rehearsals from 6-8 p.m.  Mark your calendars now!  Each rehearsal may not go the whole time.  Saturday, June 2 – Youth Sunday Rehearsal 9-11 a.m. (if needed)  Sunday, June 3 – Youth Sunday (services are at 8:30 and 10 a.m.) Questions or to RSVP, contact Kelley Price at youthatcalvaryumc@yahoo.com or cell/text 514-7413.
