CALVARY RENOVATION PROJECT Calvary Church has recently undergone a complete renovation of its facilities in order to increase the congregation's outreach in Christ's name.  The project includes expanded worship space, a new fellowship hall and kitchen, added education space for the weekday child care center and Sunday school, new administrative offices, and renovations to remaining structure including upgraded accessibility.  Phase III of the Capital Campaign to fund the building project and debt service began on June 1, 2010.  Our Released to Grow Campaign aims to raise the funds to pay off a large portion of the debt incurred by our building project, thereby releasing the congregation to utilize its resources to expand its ministry and mission.  Please prayerfully consider supporting this effort. GIFT CARDS ARE ON SALE TO SUPPORT OUR BUILDING FUND Calvary Church has gift cards available for Giant Food Stores and Boscov's Department Stores.  5% of the value of cards sold comes back to the church in support of the Building Fund.  Cards are available in the church office during the week and after Sunday worship services. This is a unique opportunity to further support our building project. Now we can all help Calvary to fulfill its dreams simply by shopping or eating out!                             OUR BUILDING PROJECT We broke ground in 2005, built a new education wing and fellowship hall that opened in the spring of 2006, and had planned to be in the new sanctuary by Christmas of 2006.  Then, on November 8, 2006, there was a devastating fire in the nearly completed sanctuary which set the project back.  We praise God, however, thanking Him that no one was hurt.  After four months of clean up and restoration, construction resumed. The congregation worshipped in the new Sanctuary for the first time on Easter - April 8, 2007.  Now only a few odds and ends remain until the projected is fully completed. The members of Calvary invited you to join us in our new facilities for worship, study and service in Christ's name!
